As a personal side project, I created a blog on WordPress.com in 2016, called True Noir, that featured long-form articles about unresolved crimes and lesser-known mysteries.

It ultimately garnered a fairly robust email subscription list and social media following within the rapidly-growing true crime community niche at the time.

Though only ever promoted organically, there were over 127k visitors to the site within the first 6 months of its creation.

By December 2018, the blog had elicited over 266k page views and been suggested to listeners by multiple (unaffiliated) podcast hosts on their shows and social.
